Don't worry, I am definitely not here to judge you! It's such a busy time of year and maybe it's not something you think about until last minute, and you just need a few helpful ideas. Which ever the reason, anything goes for the holidays. But if you want to create a QUICK and EASY festive feel in your home then keep reading because I am sharing my absolute favorite SIMPLE ideas for decorating last minute.

5 Easy Last Minute Christmas Decorating Ideas
1. Bring the Outside In
This is probably the easiest of them all and gets you some much need fresh air. Adding fresh GREENERY to a vase is easy, smells great, is perfect for last minute because you don't need to worry about keeping it alive for too long. Really, this can be done for ANY holiday in any season!
2. Add Ornaments in a Bowl
Such an easy and beautiful way to add some festive decor to your home! Make sure to vary the sizes and textures. Doesn't matter what size bowl just depends on the statement you would like to make and where you are putting it. You can even do more than one or make a lovely table grouping.
3. Display Your Christmas Cards
This is a really fun and easy way to make use of all the holiday cards you receive! You can hang these in many different places, like the fireplace mantle, down the banister, on a open wall space, along a console or tv media stand...
4. Lights & Candles
Brighten up your space and really set a festive mood with lots of twinkling LIGHTS. There are so many varieties you can choose from and it doesn't have to be expensive! The Dollarstore has great options like these start ones. It's where I have picked up alot of mine. Fairy lights are easy and beautiful add them to a jar or vase or simply lay them flat.
My faux flickering tapered candles and timer candles and candle holders seen here give great ombiance this time of year when things are grey and it get dark so early. And the scents you can choose from will give you all the holiday feels!
5. Wreaths
Lastly, not certainly not least is the simple and festive holiday wreath. They are actually on of my absolutely favorite decor pieces because they are beautiful all WINTER LONG. No reason to rush to take them down after New Years. Also, they are usually always still available even last minute. Hang it above the fireplace, over the TV on an interior door and over the guest bed. There really isn't anywhere you can't hang a wreath!
